As we are in quarantine, I started to look for a fun workout. Going to a fitness centre is not an option. First of all, they are still closed and second of all, I don’t like it. Being with a bunch of sweating people in a small space and using all the same equipment, bleh!
On Youtube, more and more home exercise channels and clips pop-up. If you search long and hard enough, you can find something exactly for you. While Duffy prefers exercises with push-ups and high jumps, I prefer something more related to dancing.
While browsing through all Zumba clips, I came across #567Broadway. Choreographer and Broadway performer Joseph Corella is showing you the moves on great Musical songs! As an experienced performer, he surely knows how important it to be in great shape by doing a lot of cardio. Step by step, he is showing us how to swing along and adding some extra cardio exercise.
In the end, you can be proud of yourself for finishing a 20 to 30-minute cardio workout, and you can give a home performance for your own family or flatmates!
Yesterday, our government mapped out how we are slowly returning to a more ‘regular’ life. They emphasized, as long as there is not a vaccine against Corona, we still have to be extremely careful. This means that all additional safety regulations are still in effect. In the meanwhile, I hope Joseph Corella keeps posting these cardio musical dance videos. This way, I can continue to stay in shape as long as the advice continues to be: Stay home, stay safe!
